Exploring ROI Spectral Signatures
In this course you will employ the supervised classification process to classify a Landsat 8 image into 4 classes
The Semi-Automatic Classification Plugin (SCP) provides extensive tools for downloading, preprocessing, postprocessing and analysis of remotely sensed imagery. In this course, you will employ the supervised classification process to classify a Landsat 8 image into 4 classes. A supervised classification is a type of image classification in which information is extracted from multiband raster images. The process involves segmenting the spectral values of pixel cells into various land cover classes of interest to a particular application.
- Build band overviews
- Add a macroclass
- View spectral separability measures
- Generate Classification Sieve
