This course will explore a few intermediate styling techniques
This course will explore a few intermediate styling techniques. First, we will use the Style Manager, a tool that allows users to create and edit custom styles for point symbols, line symbols, polygon symbols, and color ramps. Then, we will take a look at 2.5D rendering. 2.5D rendering functionality is a styling option for vector layers which allows objects to be displayed in 2.5D directly in the QGIS map canvas.
- Add a style group
- Create a symbol
- Create a color ramp
- Render a layer in 2.5D
This course was created using QGIS 2.4 for Boundless Desktop 1.0. Functionality may differ in other versions.
