This course will demonstrate how to work with projections, known as coordinate reference systems within QGIS. In QGIS, the spatial reference of a dataset is identified through the coordinate reference system (CRS) definition. It is essential that a dataset has a CRS definition for QGIS to properly display the map data with other layers in the map canvas. We will explore defining projections and creating custom coordinate reference systems.
